Yet another brilliant find from the long lost classic U.S. Power Prog metal era. Think of it as say Watch Tower with less of an angular rhythm and
noodling feel for classic 80’s thrash. I have to say that this one took me by surprise from the first track “Ignorance of Man” as it just opened
up like a classic Metallica track with the chugging riffs and fist pounding sensation that makes classic metal so timeless. These guys add flute into
the second track “0 Factor” that not only works, but it adds atmosphere to the thrashing heavy metal that these guys churn out. From start to
finish there’s everything from: a slight early Judas Priest/NWOBHM hint on tracks like “Deadly Witchraft”; classic anthemic groovers like
“Highwayman”; beautiful and melodic, almost folk-like tracks like “Chapter 23” with the flute melody; The trippy wah vocals and electronic
effects on the brilliant and chilling “Electric Soldiers” that reminds me of Peter Frampton taken to the next level; and the absolute perfect
mixture of thrash rhythms, stealthy leads, shreds, and metal spirit that’ll make you sweat and your heart throb from the thrill of it
