Daktal was formed in Michigan in the late eighties and released its debut album "The Chosen" in 1996. This was a private pressing and now is a collector's item. The band still exists and plays live gigs. Two new tracks are featured in the Steel Legacy edition as well as 2 tracks from the band's early days, back in the eighties.
